Lenta IFRS net profit falls 30.5% to 4.1 bln rbl in Oct–Dec 2021

MOSCOW, Feb 21 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian grocery retailer Lenta contracted by 30.5% on the year to 4.102 billion rubles in October–December 2021, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Monday.

Revenue went up by 18.6% on the year to 147.316 billion rubles in the period, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 22.2% to 11.414 rubles.

In 2021, the company’s net profit went down by 21.8% to 13.646 billion rubles. The sales revenue gained 8.6% to 483. 641 billion rubles, while EBITDA remained almost flat at 39.242 billion rubles.
